      G.T. Little 1984, Those Mississippi Upchurchs, pp. 6 and 21. In
      Pickens County, Alabama, by 1830, and Livingston, Sumter County,
      Alabama, by 1834. In Lauderdale County, Mississippi, in 1840 and
      1850 censuses. In 1860 census, in Quitman, Clarke County,
      Mississippi. 17 July 1861, mustered into the CSA as a private at
      Enterprise, Clarke County. Also mustered into Company D, 8th
      Mississippi Infantry, but discharged 28 May 1861 for age. 23
      September 1862, enlisted in Company G, 9th Mississippi Infantry, in
      Clarke County. Eight children including two unknown daughters, born
      1820/5 (married or died before 1840) and 1825/30 (married or died
      before 1850).

      Is this Benjamin Upchurch, Company C, 22nd Alabama Infantry, buried
      in the Confederate Cemetery, Chickasaw County, Mississippi? Cf.
