      Her girlhood home was a beautiful place in Wayne Co., GA close to the little Satilla River. The yard is coverd with Bermuda grass, shaetrees and a deep clay well. It is known now as Baxter Lake. We all did love her. There were seven children born to her: Elias, 1841, Keightley 1845, George 1847, Newton, Oliver 1849, Phillip Franklin died very younr. Sixth, Courtneyborn 1853, Frankln 1855. Elias married Miss Luvinia Woods in 1873. They had 8 children.
