I am the great granddaughter ofBertha Viola Hart. Some of the information you have on Granny David is incorrect. Bess Proctor Herman, she was the daughter of John Peter Hart and Piky Posey Prevatt. John Peter and Pinky Posey were married in Orange Cty. in 1874 andthere is a marriage record on file in the Orange Cty. courthouse. Isabella isnot her mother. If Isabella ever married John Peter, it was after Pinky Poseydied in 1877. Granny was raised by Pinky's mother, Elizabeth Prevatt and JohnPeter's mother, Mary Ann Higginbotham Hart.

Also, Granny's second husband was Welcome Jobe David not Davis. He is buried next to Granny in the Geneva, FLcemetery, as is James Cornelius Proctor. She was born on 2-18-1875 in Geneva and died 12-7-1970 in DeBary, FL. Granny was in a nursing center in DeBary at the time of her death. For note of interest, John Peter and Mary Ann Hart araealso buried in the Geneva Cemetery.

My mother was Virginia Dann Webb Grose, daughter of Emma Elizabeth Proctor and Roland Dann. Both Emma and Roland Dannare buried in the cemetery in Chuluota, FL. Of course, Emma was the daughter of Bertha and James Cornelius Proctor, as was Bess Proctor Herman of Sanford, FL.

My sister and I go to these cemeteries at least once a year, usually twice. My nephew who lives in Orlando, goes more frequently. This is to fulfill apromist to our mother, that when she died, we would take care of this for her. Also, in Geneva, there is an historical society with a lot of information on the Harts, Proctors, Prevatts, etc.

Thank you for correcting this information.

---I hope I didn't leave out anything. If I did or if something is not clear, please let me know. Thank you for everthing. We are very blessed to have such arich family heritage!
