      Port Townsend
      Memorial services for Carl Elmer Watts, 91 of Port Townsend will be at 3:30 pm Saturday, in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Mr. Watts died at home, Sunday, March 22, 1998.

      Hewas born Feb. 23, 1907, in Lone Wolf Okla, to James J. and Olvie (Braught) Watts.

      He married Mary McCoy in January 1931, Arizona, they divorced. He married Sadie Vigneron Brock in 1981 at Richland.

      Mr. Watts worked nine years as a foreman before driving busses eight years. After moving to Port Townsend in 1941 he was a caustic cook 20 years for Crown Zellerback retiring in 1971.

      He was a life member of Port Townsend Elks lodge and managed the City League andBabe Ruth ball teams.

      Mr. Watts' survivors include his wife, son Charley ofLas Vegas; daughters Pegga Wojciechowski of oak Harbor, and Carleen Watts of Pennegrove, Calif., stepson Robert A Brock and stepdaughter Judy Kay Webb, both of Kennewick as well as stepdaughter Myrna Lee Kivett and sister Mary Goffeny both of Portland Ore, and sister Ruth Hopper of Canyonville, Ore. Brothers Cloid, Earl, Lorenze and Charley and sister Florence Smith preceded him in death.

      Memorials are suggested to donor's charity of choice.
